I’ve loved cooking since I could stand next to my dad in the kitchen and watch him at work. He taught me how to chop without losing any fingers, sauté to perfection and most importantly cook from the heart. A social media manager and assistant editor by day, and a freelance write on DC-area food sports by night, I’ve taken my love of food to a new outlet, blogging. Whether it’s a luau themed birthday party, a celebratory dinner, or the impromptu girls night in, my friends and family always give me plenty of opportunities to test out my culinary skills.
